This class is specifically designed for the serious art student in grades 7-12. It is an ideal place for students to work on portfolios for summer art programs and college admissions. We focus on observational drawing skills, creating dynamic compositions and mastery of techniques. Mediums for this eignt week series will touch upon pencil, charcoal, acrylic paint, watercolor paint, printmaking, and clay. Due to the small nature of this class, students are able to work with our instructors, working in materials andcreate projects that they want to focus on. For example, our fall class worked on creating Graphic novels, and learned about story boards, camera angles and working with alcohol based markers. All materials included. Students will have the option of 1 hour or 2 hour session. Classes will meet Wednesdays from 6pm-7pm or 6pm-8pm at Earth Arts. $200 for 8 one hour sessions $240 for 8 two hour sessions.
